Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Nivedita Yogshala, we take pride in delivering personalized, authentic, and safe yoga instruction. Because your comfort and confidence matter most, we have structured this transparent policy to outline how demo classes, membership fees, medical pauses, and refunds are handled.

1. Try Before You Commit: 100% Free Live Demo Class

We want you to feel completely confident before making any financial investment in your health. We encourage every new practitioner to attend our Free 60-Minute Live Demo Class.

Verify your device setup, video clarity, and sound quality.
Discuss your fitness goals or medical considerations directly with the teacher before paying any fee.

2. Monthly & Multi-Month Membership Subscriptions

A. Cancellation Before Batch Commencement:

If you enroll and pay for a regular batch but request a cancellation before the first scheduled class of your subscription begins, you are eligible for a 100% refund (minus third-party payment gateway transaction fees of approximately 2-3%).

B. Cancellation After Classes Have Started:

Because batch seats are strictly capped to provide individualized camera-on attention, once a student has attended classes in their active billing month, fees for that current month are non-refundable.

For multi-month subscriptions (e.g., Quarterly 3-Month or Half-Yearly plans), if you wish to cancel after the first month, the attended month will be billed at the standard monthly single rate, and the unutilized balance for the remaining whole months will be refunded.

3. Compassionate Medical Pause / Membership Freeze

🩺 Flexible Health Pause Policy

We understand that unexpected illness, medical procedures, or emergencies can happen. Instead of forfeiting your fee, you can request an immediate Membership Pause (Freeze) for up to 30 days.

Simply message us on WhatsApp or email us with your request. Your remaining class days will be held on pause and will resume automatically on the date you are medically cleared to return.

4. Therapeutic Yoga & 1-on-1 Personal Consultations

Rescheduling: You may reschedule your booked 1-on-1 session at no additional cost by notifying us at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled slot.
Cancellation: If cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment, a full refund will be provided. Cancellations within 12 hours of the slot or missed sessions without prior notice are non-refundable.

5. Refund Processing Timeline & Method

Initiation: Approved refund requests are processed within 24 to 48 hours of verification.
Credit to Account: Funds typically reflect in your original payment method (Bank Account, UPI, or Credit/Debit Card) within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank's clearance cycle.
